‘The Magicians’ Update!

The folks over at Syfy have greenlit a pilot based on ‘The Magicians’ by Lev Grossman. If you’ve forgotten, we talked about that book back on Episode 26. This could be pretty cool! The author had this to say about the news: On Wednesday night I got a call from my producer and the two geniuses who’ve been working on the pilot script for the Magicians TV show since literally last August. Remember when we told you about how awesome ‘The Martian’ by Andy Weir was on Episode 22? And that possibly it was going to be made into a movie? Well (according to Simon Kinberg)  it has been confirmed that Ridley Scott will direct the movie which stars Matt Damon as the most awesome astronaut ever, Mark Watney. So, how excited is Mel? Guess.
