This week Mike and I discuss spoilers.

Endgame, Game of Thrones, Dexter, and Walking Dead all come up.  Usually in a non-spoilery kind of way.

Squat Cobbler 83: Cobbler Mix (Mike’s playlist #1)

This is the first of Mike and I sharing themed playlists/mix tapes of songs.  This was Mike’s idea, so we kicked it off with his six song playlist  featuring female singers.  Pretty great group of songs where you can listen to here.

Squat Cobbler 82: The Who – Quadrophenia (album review)

“I got a Gibson without a case, but I can’t get that even tanned look on my face”

Tangent Tally: 6.5

This week Mike and I review the Who’s “Quadrophenia”. This is an outstanding album and we both marvel at the drumming of a certain Mr. Keith Moon.

I apologize that I made several unforced errors in the review.  I goofed up on what songs were on what side, confused the band member themes, and I managed to explain the song structure of “Helpless Dancer” while we were discussing “Dirty Jobs”.  In my defense, I was tired and still in recovery from the Dwarves review 🙂

Squat Cobbler 81: Nine Inch Nails – The Fragile (album review)

“I try to save myself, but myself keeps slipping away”

Tangent Tally: 2.5

This week Mike and I discuss the sprawling, 23 song long Nine Inch Nails album, “The Fragile”.  As is our wont, we get right to business with Mike saying “Let’s jump right into this.” at around the 11 minute mark of the podcast.

Speaking of this, here is the pre-order link for the New Beasto Blanco album “We Are”!

As promised, Kelly’s cool pic from the meet and greet with Beasto Blanco…

Squat Cobbler 79: Tonio K. – La Bomba (album review)

“Vocabulary seems to be the opiate of the people”

This week we review Tonio K.’s EP “La Bomba”.  Five songs of wonderment.  As with the previous review of the Dwarves album, we visit the Book of Proverbs 🙂

As promised, the amazing “Mars needs Women”…

Squat Cobbler 78: Dwarves – Blood Guts & … (album review)

“Everybody needs an antibody”

This week Mike and Kelly review the Dwarves album “Blood Guts & _____”.

This was a really fun review, but there is a HEAVY dose of strong language in this episode, so wanted to give you a heads up.

Squat Cobbler 76: The Clash – London Calling (review)

“Don’t ya’ know it is wrong to cheat the tryin’ man?”

This week we review “London Calling” by the Clash.  Spoiler… this is a BRILLIANT album.

Here is the… ummmm… interesting riff off “Guns of Brixton” by Cypress Hill that Mike mentioned.

Well, we can’t end the post with that, so…
